Dubai Overview:
Dubai is located along the Arabian Gulf with a coast of about 72 km. the Emirate of Dubai covers an area of 3885 square kilometers, equivalent to 5% of the area of the UAE without the islands. The population of Dubai is nearly 1.4 million people.

Dubai City is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, the Emirate is divided, by Dubai Creek, into two parts. Bur Dubai is the southern part, where the Ruler’s Court is. It is the center of the official activities, and most of the companies and banks main offices and customs as well as Port Rashid are in Bur Dubai.

The northern part of Dubai is called "Deira," the center of business and tourism; it includes shops, markets, schools, hotels, clubs, and Dubai International Airport.

Burj Al-Arab which is one of the unique hotels in the world is located next to the island, as well as Burj Khalifa (Khalifa Tower) the largest and tallest building in the world and Atlantis Hotel in Palm Island.
