' We love living in Al Barari, its the one place in Dubai that we manage to feel at one with nature. The only way I can describe it, is a mini rain forest in the desert, with a backdrop of the city skyline at night. In the winter months, we step out of our back garden into the pathways that lead us through Barari's lush botanical gardens over to the main lake.It's such a unique little community, you can just wonder around what feels like endless pathways, that wind through numerous waterways, mini waterfalls and scattered little wooden bridges that cross over the streams. There are little cabanas hidden among the different garden areas. I often grab a good book and just find a little tranquil spot next to a flowing stream. On the way home, I'll pick some of the leaves off the beautifully scented basil and rosemary plants nestled around the community.
