Horizon Tower is one of the iconic residential towers in Dubai Marina area. Situated right next to the JLT metro station (literally!!), its cylindrical shape makes it stand out amongst the rest. The building has same layout on every floor, 4 4bedroom apartments on each floor apart from the penthouse. If someone wants to live near the metro and have easy access to cabs then its one of the best places to live. But the facilities are not nice, the Gym is bad and Swimming pool area is nice but unfortunately one of the pools does not have a temperature control system so it becomes useless in the winter months.The building management an the security staff are rude and its a pain to deal with them. Specially the maintenance is a headache and the fittings are very old and basic.

The walls are thick so you don't hear noise from different rooms or apartments, which is great. The internet cabling in the building is messed up, so event though we have 16GB internet in our apartment, it does not work properly at all.Well the biggest catch is that it is one of the cheapest buildings in Marina area, which overshadows most of the points I made above. So in my opinion it is value for money for those who want to live in Marina area but do not have much money to spend.
