A couple of things that do let it down are that we have had the occasional issue of someone parking in our parking spot which didn't matter at the time too much as we only had 1 car but it was incredibly annoying once we had the second car. Security are useless (much like most of Dubai) and couldn't do anything to remove the car, they wouldn't even leave a note for the owner of the car to contact them to move the car at first but after going to the security office every day for 2 weeks they finally did something about it.
Furthermore, the maintenance company who you have to use for the building is worse than useless. Repeated calls and workers not showing up at the promised time is a constant nightmare. Promised many call backs which never happened which adds to the frustration. We had a leak in the kitchen from the AC unit which was caused by the high humidity and it took 4 weeks to finally get someone to visit the flat who didn't actually even do anything but just had a look. Another 2 weeks until someone came out to fix it, were supposed to be there between 2pm-6pm and finally showed up at 10pm to do the work.
The negatives are easy to point out but all in all it's a nice flat with spacious rooms and some nice finishings.
