Al Khalidiya is a lively and popular area of Abu Dhabi. There are many pedestrianized areas plus the busy Corniche has both family and adult only beaches. As well as a range of new and old Residential Towers and Villas, there are many Hotels,Restaurants and Retail facilities,including Marina Mall.
Al Khalidiya St. is located in the Old Airport Road on one side,the Corniche on another and 11th Street to the south making this a beachfront location. There are several 5 star hotels (Hilton Abu Dhabi 5 minutes away) in the area and it is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Abu Dhabi and you can reach the beaches and public parks by foot. In short this area has both beautiful scenery, green parks and trees and convenient services as well as being walking distance from the Corniche.
