Al Barsha is a collection of sub communities in Dubai. It is one of the new residential developments and located in the West of Dubai, South of Al Sufouh. It is bounded both by Sheikh Zayed Road and Emirates Road.
Its various sub communities include the following: Al Barsha First, Al Barsha Second, Al Barsha Third, Al Barsha South One, AL Barsha South Two and Al Barsha South Three. As newly developed community, Al Barsha is already populated if compared to other communities in the city. It is close to Dubai Internet City, Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah.
Al Barsha 3 is one of the sub communities which is also located within the Al Barsha District of Dubai. There are two much smaller, less busy, shopping malls in the area. Al Barsha Mall is built around its anchor store, the Union Co-op Hypermarket, and has a number of restaurants, specialty stores and children's play areas. The Lulu Centre, aptly named after its anchor store, Lulu Hypermarket, is a smaller centre with exchange houses, a pharmacy and a few jewellery stores. This centre is located directly across the street from Mall of the Emirates, and serves a great deal of weekend grocery shoppers.
