The Jumeirah Lakes Towers is a large development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which consists of 79 towers being constructed along the edges of three artificial lakes (Lake Almas West, Lake Almas East, JLT Lake) as well as the JLT Embankment of 8 tower facing Jumeirah Islands. Initially JLT had 4 lakes (Lake Almas West, Lake Almas East, Lake Elucio, Lake Allure). The total area covered by the lakes, waterways and landscaping will be 730,000-square-metre (7,900,000 sq ft). The towers will range from having 35 floors to having 45, except for the centerpiece, which is 66 floors.
JLT community has been developed with the aim of providing its residents with residential and office options that have a tranquil and comfortable feel to them. There are attached and detached shops and cafes along with open terraces, shaded walkways and quiet seating places in the community area. Children's play areas and day care centres are also in the offing. Jumeirah Lake Towers community is currently under-construction. Once completed, it will have 87 towers arranged in clusters.
