New Road Opening

As of Tuesday 8 October 2013, the RTA will open a new road running parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road in the direction of Jebel Ali (Please see map where the new road is highlighted in pink).

The road will allow traffic from the North side of the development to exit via the Jebel Ali/South side.

Note: Left turns to access clusters are not permitted.

Further to the recent roadwork update on 29 August 2013, the RTA is continuing to progress works on the JLT and 1st Al Khail Road networks in order to complete the road infrastructure by the end of this year.

Please find below a summary of the changes (from 20/21 Sept) we have been advised of. The road closure elements will remain in place until RTA contractors complete the final phase of the project:

1. New bridge in front of Clusters F & O – open and allowing access from the North side to the South side of JLT

The new bridge in front of Clusters F & O will be open in the direction of Dubai and allowing access to the North side of JLT (Clusters O – W)
